About The Gulf English School (GES)
The Gulf English School opened in 1993 to meet the need for an educational facility which would provide a broad and balanced curriculum based on the English National Curriculum and also offer an Arabic Language and Islamic Studies programme as authorized by the Supreme Education Council. The school is housed in modern purpose built facilities of a coeducational programme up until Year Five and a segregated programme from Year Six onwards.
From a small beginning in two villas, the school has rapidly developed and now occupies two large modern purpose built premises with all facilities available to educate students to a high standard.
The Gulf English School only employs fully qualified teachers of the highest calibre from all over the world. All teachers are fluent and competent English speakers who are experts in their particular field of knowledge and skills.
Teachers bring a wide breadth of experience and pedagogical practice and many hold masters degrees or equivalent.

As a parent, very satisfied about the care, facilities and teaching methods. An excellent place for visual-learners. Learner-centered teaching, patient and supportive teachers, highly qualified teachers.

Worst school ever. The staff are very rude, and the students are even worse. The staff are just there for the money, and the education isn鈥檛 good. They don鈥檛 teach your children anything useful, and I feel like the school just wants to grab money in any way possible. Students are just there to show off, and not to learn. Staff are absolutely disgusting, and show favoritism towards students. If you want to go to a good school that actually teaches your kids, do not come to this school. If I could, I would give this school 0 stars. All the good teachers left the school, and they replaced the good teachers with 鈥渢eachers鈥 that don鈥檛 understand anything and that are extremely rude. The staff there think that they鈥檙e better than everyone. The school has lots of drama, and wouldn鈥檛 be a good place to learn. Even one teacher admitted to me that almost all of the teachers in this school are just there for the money. Take my advice, do NOT come to this school!!
