The Tanto Â黨ÊÓƵ School is one of a very few schools, in Stockholm, that has been granted the license to offer a complete international education in English. The school educates students from the age of 6-12 years (our English Nursery caters for children from 1-6 yrs) and remains committed to offering the very best support and development through small classes and high quality teaching.

Our aim is to remain a small, independent school,  and our long term priority is to make sure all our children continue to receive the best care, learning environment and attention. Since 1983, we have been creating a passion for learning in children between the ages of 1 and 12. 

Established in 1980, BISS is an all-through international school with students from over 50 countries aged 3-18 years. We are a learning-focused, student-centred school that places students at the centre of everything we do. Our holistic philosophy emphasises both the intellectual and personal development of our students. We provide a strong pastoral system, a broad curriculum and exciting enrichment opportunities to meet the needs of a diverse student population.

Futuraskolan Â黨ÊÓƵ School of Stockholm is a Grade 1-9 independent, non-sectarian, open admissions, co-educational, tuition based, day school located in central Stockholm. The school is designed to serve the children of the international community posted in Sweden and offers all classes in English, with the exception of modern language courses. The school year runs from mid-August to mid-June and has a minimum instructional period of 178 days divided into two semesters.

To guide us in lesson, unit and grade level content planning, Futuraskolan Â黨ÊÓƵ School of Stockholm utilizes the interdisciplinary philosophical underpinnings of the Â黨ÊÓƵ Primary Curriculum (IPC)/Â黨ÊÓƵ Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) and supplement with conceptual knowledge found in the U.S. Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.

As its name suggests, Vasa Â黨ÊÓƵ School of Stockholm, is located in the Vasastan area of central Stockholm. Our relatively low number of students –around 400 – contributes to a particularly friendly atmosphere where all are welcome. While we give our students the freedom to learn and explore independently, we also believe in the importance of self-discipline and mutual respect.

To ensure pupils are polite, confident and respectful young world citizens, Vasa Â黨ÊÓƵ School of Stockholm works constantly to create an environment where students have, and show, genuine respect for teaching staff, fellow pupils and themselves. Internationella Engelska Gymnasiet Södermalm (IEGS) is located in the heart of Södermalm with a strong academic and multicultural tradition, committed to helping students develop to their full potential. We currently offer four Swedish national programmes and the Â黨ÊÓƵ Baccalaureate (IB) programme, which all qualify students for university studies in Sweden or abroad.

All courses, with the exception of Swedish, Civics A, Law and Modern Languages, are taught in English. Europaskolan Gamla Stan is an Â黨ÊÓƵ Baccalaureate World School that also meets all requirements of the Swedish national curriculum. We provide students between the ages of five and sixteen a wide-ranging education in an open atmosphere at three campuses in central Stockholm.

We believe the best way to provide a high quality education to our students is to combine the best of the Swedish school system with the best from international education and deliver it to the students in an engaging and inspiring way. To best achieve this, we became an authorized IB world school, and run their PYP and MYP curricula in conjunction with the Swedish national curriculum.

To further emphasize the union of Swedish and international education we have two languages of instruction, English and Swedish.

The Â黨ÊÓƵ School of the Stockholm Region (ISSR) is a publically funded English speaking school founded by the City of Stockholm in response to the growing demand for a truly international education.

ISSR is an accredited continuum school offering all three IB programmes; Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme. Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) was founded by Mrs Barbara Bergström in 1993, a science teacher from the USA. She saw the need to improve education in Sweden, and set out three major convictions which have defined life in our schools ever since; s safe and orderly school environment where teachers can teach and students learn, command of English and high academic expectations and aspirations.

At IES Enskede the whole team at the school, including teachers, school leaders, and support staff, is there to help your child learn.
