About Sri Kuala Lumpur School (Sri KL)
At Sri Kuala Lumpur School, we would like to think of ourselves as 鈥楾he Malaysian School In English鈥. Our medium of instruction is predominantly English but our values are firmly Malaysian along with our culture and our food. That makes us a different sort of international school where the majority of our students are Malaysian, along with our teachers and administrators.
At the same time, Sri KL is the school of choice for many expatriates who wish to embrace Malaysian culture and gain a deeper knowledge of the national language. And all are welcome. Our philosophy has always been to provide a well-rounded and complete education for our students, emphasizing strong community values and discipline whilst at the same time encouraging our students to excel academically.
We鈥檙e also believers in the old adage that healthy bodies make healthy minds and our commitment to sporting and co-curricular activities reflects this belief.

How would you rate Sri Kuala Lumpur School (Sri KL)?
Dedicated teachers and the school focuses on values. School fees are reasonable and with a good pool of experienced and loyal teachers.
There鈥檚 quite a bit of bullying and preferential treatment in this school. If you can afford slightly more, don鈥檛 fall for their marketing 鈥榤anifesto鈥 and choose a different private school in PJ area. There鈥檚 no real focus on sports and performing arts either. Go for their concerts and you鈥檒l see the same kids on stage every year.
The teachers are inexperienced and prefer that students don鈥檛 raise issues to them. If they do, they will be targeted. Also clear bias for students with parents who are teachers in the school. But I guess you get what you pay for. One of the more affordable private schools in Subang. And most of the students here are the ones who originally had Lik Hung or another SRJK C as they preferred school but didn鈥檛 get in. So you can imaging what it鈥檚 like.
There is a clear 鈥榗over your a**鈥 culture in this school. When a child is bullied or even hit by another child, the teacher鈥檚 response (and I have witnessed this multiple times with different children) is to either say 鈥榳hy did you provoke him?鈥 Or 鈥榶ou should not have stood in his way鈥 There are some teachers who are so timid and immature that you wonder how they can manage a room full of boisterous Generation Alphas. And then there are the teachers who prefer students to be silent and not speak up. They themselves do not understand 21st century skills let alone be able to harness that in students. SriKL has been an absolute disappointment in every sense. It has turned my confident child into someone who is questioning whther he should even ask a question. Or if he should report to the teacher if there is bullying occurring around him.
Supportive students especially in sports season, fosters teamwork and collaboration very well. Teachers are qualified. Good facilities with up to date equipment.
Sri Kuala Lumpur School by far the best international school I have worked in.
Terrible management and communication between parents and school. I paid for a private education for my child only for Sri Kuala Lumpur to prioritise their own image and reputation rather than striving to actually teach my children. There is a poor healthcare system and the standards of teaching are dirt poor. Teachers were unqualified and almost uncomfortable to be around with. I could name several instances of Tan Sun Seng, the most unqualified madman that rose to power as principle due to the pandemic, where he's deliberately covered up instances of his administration screwing up. The school won't tell you that they've been shut down by the Ministry of Health, had several police investigations into improper misconduct between staff and students, and had such a piss poor support system during the pandemic that it drove a child to end their own life. Facilities are old, run down, and the building is quite frankly inaccessible with terrible traffic. SS15 isn't exactly the safest place to let your child roam free after school with several cases of bag snatching while students walk out after school.
Sri KL helps you find what you enjoy and actually help you make something out of it. It鈥檚 worth it.
Outdated. Seemingly about values
A great school with Asian Values, 麻花视频 Excellence.

Teachers are wonderful. Very well run, academically and extra curricular activities. Established non-academic programmes. Dedicated teachers and management. Oldest private school in Malaysia.
