So, I will first review the primary school. There are decent space & enough facilities to cope with all the student which includes the canteen, playground, courtyard, library, pool, gym & etc. However, the pool water is always very cold. For teachers, strictly based on my experience, they are just ok. There are some good ones who actually teach you will incorporating it in a fun way but more of the older teachers have a considerably more traditional approach which I feel doesn't keep up with the "21th century learning needs". To clarify what I mean by traditional I meant it like the "asian way" where teachers don't teach student to inquire about the subject & just pay attention to get good grades. This is again, strictly based on personal experience. For music & arts, I give it a 4 since there are the tools & materials to properly study those subjects like after school band or during basic music (yr1-3) & recorder (yr4-6). I don't have much to say about about academics cause to me, there is anything that stands out in terms of the way students are being taught & since it is such a wide topic that I am unsure whether the review meant by how it has improved our academic scores or something else. Sport is good I guess? There is a pool, gym, basketball stadium, futsal field & a large hall that can accommodate the many sport related activities. In term of science facilities for primary, there is a lab but it is barely used in & there aren't many activities or experiments that students can carry out which is the reason why I gave it a poor instead of acceptable. Technology is good as there are enough computers & even smartboards in classrooms though not always used by teachers. Moving on to secondary school. Its harder to give a review since I am at my second year in secondary & it had been mostly online studying due to the MCO but offer what I have first. There are better facilities here which included a room for woodwork, a needlework room, a cookery & 3 science labs for each major (biology, physics & chemistry) which is a big improvement from the primary one. So far my teachers have been pretty good too. Well..most of them. For music & arts, it was a surprise when we had singing in music. Unfortunately we apparently didn't have "harmony" but you know what, idc about that. For Arts, we generally used a lot more of the sketch book so it doesn't really go to waste cause during primary we did more on art block & our sketchbooks were usually around 1/4 filled while now its about 2 to 3/4. I don't have anything to say for academic & in term of co-curriculum, it has a much larger variety thought it was confusing when I saw that cookery was only for year 10 girls. Sexist? idk. FYI for those deciding on bring your child to srikl, I am not trying to say bad things about my school but some of the curriculum mentioned on the school's website need to be paid & some I haven't seen in the list of option during my time at school when they allowed up to choose.

Teachers are wonderful. Very well run, academically and extra curricular activities. Established non-academic programmes. Dedicated teachers and management. Oldest private school in Malaysia.
