My daughter came from another highly rated international school outside the Netherlands. But we were pleasantly surprised by how much more rigorous ISH's academic standards were. My daughter has flourished and has been challenged in a good way by ISH Primary and Secondary classes. Her ISH teachers have been excellent and the school staff have been responsive. We're moving out of the Netherlands and we wish we could bring ISH with us.

The primary school is fantastic, the secondary school far from. It is a wonder that it hasn't been shut down or subject to legal action. Only send you child here if you would like them to be exposed to uncontrolled racism, discrimination and harassment. Executive leadership need to be dismissed, potentially from the profession entirely. Shameful.

Absolutely the worst school ever. You pay 8000 euros for your child to get bullied by teachers, teachers have no respect for students. If you struggle in school all they will do is tell you or make you feel like you are dumb! No help given what so ever. I moved to the rotterdam international secondary school, now that鈥檚 a place you CAN send you child! PLEASE don鈥檛 send your child to ISH, i wouldn鈥檛 even wish it upon my worst enemy. All you are at ISH is a number. All they want is money that鈥檚 why they admit too many students (which they don鈥檛 even have the space for).

We have two boys who have thrived at ISH, a school that strives hard to create a rich, expansive and compassionate learning environment for all its students. It's a privilege to be a member of the ISH community. A wonderful school!

My now 5yo has attended ISH for a year and a half. It is such a special place where she is excited about leaning! We are so glad we chose this option for her. I'm also impressed this year about how much more Dutch is coming home!

We have 3 extremely happy kids at ISH since 4 years. The teaching quality is outstanding, teachers are not only very professional but also warm, empathic and supportive. Facilities are new, with natural light classrooms, state of the art gym and spacious common areas, that provide a safe and challenging learning environment to students. Besides, the school has nice playgrounds and outdoor areas for kids to play, run and practice many sports. With the high standard IPC/IB curricula, students learn to reflect on their own learning experiences as well as to assess their peers, guided by the values of the school. I would highly recommend ISH to new families in The Hague.

Very happy with ISH for our 4y. Great teachers and lots of different learning materials. Right balance of play, learning through play and physical activity. Most important is that the kids have enough space and freedom!

I am extremely happy seeing how the teachers nurture and develop children鈥檚 academic skills as well as social/personal skills with creative and engaging play . The teachers communicate clearly with the parents informing them what the child did this week and what they would be learning next week. I find this incredible helpful and feel connected to my child鈥檚 learning and development.

ISH Primary is amazing, my little one is in Early Years 1 and loves going to school every day. The free-flow and co-play approach means they get to lead their own learning, guided by the teachers rather than being talked at. My daughter's confidence grows every day and she's so proud of what she's achieving.

We have two children at ISH Primary, which we recommend as a fantastic school. ISH challenges children to challenge themselves academically, and does so through highly fun and interactive methodology. As a result, both our children love learning, and are not afraid of new or difficult concepts. Besides being managed well, and with excellent and caring teachers, ISH Primary is a wonderfully diverse, international community. It is also a special environment for us because of its warm, bright and spacious classrooms, and broad outdoor grass play/athletics areas. Our kids especially enjoy their organised class activities in the school's green spaces, and our youngest loves her class outings to explore the nature habitat in the local woods.
