About Universal American School (UAS)
Universal American School (UAS) was founded in 2005. Since then we have served our students every day, helping them become compassionate, confident learners who know who they are and what they stand for. As you learn more about UAS the term 鈥渃ommunity鈥 will resonate with you again and again. We are a small, not-for-profit school in the heart of family-friendly Festival City. There is a wonderful feeling about our school which comes from our mission:
Universal American School provides a challenging American and 麻花视频 education that empowers students to be caring individuals, critical thinkers and responsible global citizens. The mission is very much aligned to my own personal philosophy: that every student should be able to identify and achieve their personal best in everything they do.
These ideas drive us forward every day. In the 2019-20 year, we will be offering our first cohort of AP and Common Core courses that will run along our IB Diploma Programme for students in Grades 11 and 12. This parallel track will empower our students make more personalized choices in their education. Moreover, it serves as an opportunity for students to seek alternate routes to post-secondary education. I am very excited about it.

My 3-year-old has been attending this preschool for just three weeks, and I鈥檓 already extremely dissatisfied. Every morning, they send the children outside under the scorching Dubai sun from 8:30 am to 9:00 am before they've had breakfast or snacks. That鈥檚 30 minutes of unnecessary exposure to the heat! On top of that, my daughter often comes home with rocks and sand in her shoes, which she has to wear from 8:30 am until I pick her up at 12:45 pm. When I raised this issue, they simply said they "don鈥檛 have time" to let the children take their shoes off. Of course, they wouldn鈥檛 when there鈥檚 only one helper for a class of 17 kids! The lack of care and resources is shocking, especially for a preschool. Especially that we are living in dubai not in a village
Very very very bad bad service small school bad learning

I have been a parent in this school for 12 years, with all of my three kids enrolled. There is not even a question of changing schools for us, as we really feel at home at UAS. With Al Futtaim take over, the school only got better, as it became non-for-profit and invests heavily into the campus. The best thing about the school - it鈥檚 community and sense of belonging.

Not how it used to be. Education is worst, teachers are not wearing appropriate dresses (except when KHDA comes), you pay big chunk of money and school expects the child to know better. My son was abused by a teacher and no actions has been done since all teachers are defending each other. My son is just 6 years old and this is the WORST EXPERIENCE I ever had, even emails proves that the teacher hit him. This UNETHICAL, UNPROFESSIONAL School...From 2009 till 2016 it was amazing but 2018-19 a lot has changed in a negative way.

This school does not even deserve even 1 star due to corrupted management. If a student complains about teacher beating him the teachers and the directors would not even take the students words in consideration but would rather blame the student mistake and looking upon unreasonable excuses to blame the student rather than rectifying the problem on why would a student have something personal from a teacher and why would a student and report against that specific teacher name Britany. WHY!? The teachers take things personally and are not abiding the UAE law which they are not allowed to touch the students. This school management is worse and they change their colors as soon as the KHDA show up.
