How would you rate The New School, Rome?
First impact: Italianish, not a real, fully English-spoken school. Plus, welcoming a visitor includes letting them in with the car as it is impossible to find parking on the Camilluccia, very dangerous spot! Not at all a good impression, as the kids (mostly Italian) and part of the staff speak Italian on campus. If you go to the school and you find a teddy bear, let us know because it鈥檚 ours: we left it for a moment on the ground to talk to a teacher and when we turned around it wasn鈥檛 there anymore. A kid surely took it. The headmistress told us it was our fault: we shouldn鈥檛 have brought 鈥減recious objects鈥 to school. Instead of asking the kids to give it back to avoid penalties or something. Not the right attitude nor an appropriate life teaching. School is not just about Maths or Geography, but also Manners and Honesty.
