About The British Junior Academy of Brussels (BJAB)
The British Junior Academy of Brussels (BJAB)'s approach engages the pupils in all aspects of education and requires responsibility and involvement. Within a caring and structured environment, children are taught the curriculum by a vibrant and creative teaching staff and encouraged to mature and grow to love life and learning.
BJAB offers half-day and full-day enrolment in our PreKindergarten and Kindergarten classes for children from ages 2.5 to 4 and full-time enrolment in our Reception class for children ages 4 to 5. Our small classes and generous teacher to pupil ratio allows each child individualised support.
BJAB follows the National Curriculum for England with adaptations for an international school. The curriculum is taught in English and specialist teaching is given to children for whom English is not their first language. Children with experience of other school systems will adapt well to BJAB鈥檚 approach. Likewise, children are expertly prepared to progress to all other international curricula, such as IB, Cambridge, and the Belgian and French systems. Our standardised assessments are internationally recognised and respected.

Outstanding school with the best head teacher that we have come across. Academically excellent, caring, focused on each child and the community. Exceptional. They regularly go above and beyond.

Very happy with our experience. My 6-year old daughter's progress in 2nd grade was literally visible on a weekly bases, and she loved going to school throughout.
