The never ending excuses given by the school on issues raised by parents are just exhausting. 1. Cafeteria too small for student capacity where they need to stagger the lunch and breaks. Food also runs out and not replenished by cafeteria. Expensive cafeteria food, mostly processed food. 2. Continuous enrolment of new students without expanding their common facilities cause congestion in cafeteria, filthy toilets etc. 3. The school doesn鈥檛 replace their technology in terms of laptops and tablets where old ones are used although technology fees collected in addition to tuition fees. Now secondary students are required to purchase their own laptop. Although lockers are provided, they students move about to other classes and it鈥檚 not conducive to use lockers and then rush to their classes in different floors.
The administration very bad and more to cut cost. Cafeteria issue not resolved. Old laptop and the technology fee is for school maintain the server.
The school is very transparent compare to other school that I visited and spoken. It's transparent because the school encourages parent to participate in the early years activities and if you have any problems, you can raise your concerns.. there's alot of communication on going between teachers, parents and students.. it is very important for early years parent and child bonding moment, teacher and schools shows alot of love and cares.. teacher are full with vibes and passions. The school understand the parents well... what parent wants and needs... parents are happy to see the children photo updates...what their child has been doing in school... teacher share their observation of your kids and how he/ she take up a leadership role by pairing kids with different student, how to develop teamwork... most important the school shows alot of love, patience and caring... and the also focus on early years learning should be Fun. Indeed! Unlike other school keep telling us academy academy making the subject so boring and children hate learning..... they are just early years... definitely has to be fun learning! When a children feel fun .. they can pick up or learning become easier... no regrets...
No proper principle. Classroom and facilities not conducive
My two children are in the Primary Key Stage 1 & 2, they enjoy learning through the IPC Curriculum, it helps them to relate what they have learnt with everyday life. I'm impressed when my children at such a young age talk to me about growth vs fixed mindset, what they think can help them feel/think/do better. I'm very grateful that the school is placing so much effort in teaching mental health management, a very important lifelong skill. Communications with teachers is pretty easy, teachers are generally responsive and actively share classroom updates. There's a very informative weekly summary to stay updated with class learning plan and school events. It's not a perfect school but I'm giving TISPC an overall 5 stars rating because this is probably my best option in this part of Klang Valley. Of course there's always room for improvement, I hope the school will continue its collaborative approach to manage issues and drive improvements. To the primary school's credit, I'm seeing many happy kids, more smiling parents than frowning parents so I assume this is a sign that TISPC is good value for money, so far I'm seeing the school does walk the talk. Suggest the school to look into better sports talent management strategy, like offer effective training to better prepare students to shine in inter-schools tournaments.
Great facilities but hardly will allow students to use. Great library but never see my child bring any books back to read or review. Big school but poor quality of teachers and some are not even full-timer. They don't practise using books, they print a lot of free cheap materials and do not care much about students effectiveness in learning. No principal for almost 3 years. Upper primary quality - BAD. Secondary - WORST.
Taylor's Puchong had shaped my sons, from a very reserved and introvert personality to an outspoken student who's able to speak well on stage... Teachers are very dedicated and ever ready to support them whenever needed. The best part and most memorable event they had was to be able to participate in many sports activities and representing the school for competitions. Thank you TISPC.
Excellent Primary School, very dedicated teachers and well trained.
Full disclosure, I was a Head of Department at Taylors for 2 year's but left early due to the horrendous conditions within the school. What I did not know when I accepted the job and arrived in Malyasia was that I was the third Head of Dept. in the past year!!! The turn over of staff is massive and most are unhappy. I must point out they are unhappy with the school management and owners, not the country. In fact everyone I knew spoke highly of the country. I stopped going into work after 5 months......yes it was that bad! The Principal also left at the end of the year along with myself and he only server half of his 3 year contract. He was told along with myself that he does not run the school and I do not run the department. It is 99.99% a local school with "international" built into the title, trust me it is not an international school. They hire good, well qualified staff as middle & senior managers as this makes the school look good!!! All managers have their hands tied and can not do the dynamic work needed to make the school better and benefit the students. An example to put things into perspective: to order resources it needed to go through 13 (thirteen) different people before it was ordered, totally pathetic. 58 days to get a simple demo. program installed on a laptop (even with a football team in the ICT support dept). The Head of English was told he was not allowed to purchase dictionaries. I myself could not buy glue sticks or scissors. All auxiliary staff would not do anything without permission from high above, even if it hurt the school. To put it in simple terms - I would not send my kids there or my enemies kids. Everyone who works there knows the management and owners (Chinese) will not let staff do what they do best. I have worked in several schools, but this was the first school that was "for profit", NEVER AGAIN. If you are a teacher thinking about working at TISP please please don't. I was lucky I managed to negotiate my way out of my contract and penalised the school badly (mainly because I had plenty of money, so the threat of not being paid if I did not turn up was fine with me). I could have stayed in the country for longer AND made the school pay my rent, but I just wanted to get as far away from TISP as possible for the sake of my health.
