Limited Educational Approach at Sabis Sun Azerbaijan I feel compelled to share my perspective on Sabis Sun Azerbaijan based on my experience as an educator at the school for a year. In writing this review, I intend to offer an honest and transparent account of my observations during my time there. Sabis Sun Azerbaijan is a school that follows a curriculum with a strong emphasis on rote memorization and test-oriented learning. While this approach might have its merits in some contexts, I found it lacking in fostering genuine understanding and critical thinking among students. The students are often required to memorize information and regurgitate it during weekly tests, which I believe inhibits their ability to apply their knowledge to real-life situations and challenges. One of the concerns I encountered during my tenure was the apparent absence of authentic learning experiences that encourage students to engage with and comprehend the subject matter on a deeper level. The curriculum seemed designed to prioritize information retention over fostering a love for learning or the development of practical skills. Another area of concern pertains to the qualifications of the teaching staff. Many teachers hold university degrees but lack formal training in education. This led to an environment where pedagogical best practices and innovative teaching methods were not consistently employed. The Sabis curriculum's design, which seemingly allows for anyone to teach it, could be perceived as a double-edged sword. While it may facilitate ease of implementation, it also potentially sidelines the significance of experienced and trained educators who can adapt to students' diverse learning needs. One of the noteworthy observations I made was the limited emphasis on collaborative learning and group work. The classroom setup seemed to discourage active participation and peer interaction, as students were expected to sit in rows and primarily listen to the teacher's instructions. This lack of interactive learning experiences may hinder the development of crucial skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, that are essential for students' holistic growth. Having accumulated more than a decade of international teaching experience, I hold the professional opinion that the educational approach at Sabis Sun Azerbaijan falls short of adequately preparing students for the challenges they will face in the future. While the school's intentions may be well-founded, there is room for improvement in aligning the curriculum with contemporary educational philosophies that prioritize critical thinking, real-world application, and holistic development. In conclusion, my review of Sabis Sun Azerbaijan is based on my observations and reflections during my time as an educator. It is my hope that this review provides a balanced and insightful perspective for those seeking information about the school's educational approach.

Fantastic school! Great atmosphere and well behaved, polite children. The curriculum is English based with expat teachers in charge of English, Maths, Science classes. The facilities are outstanding with two swimming pools, two sport halls, football pitches, basketball courts and am athletics track.

Disgusting school that will teach you nothing. Feel free to go to this school if you want over 10 hours of doing nothing and just telling students they have deadlines.
