About Private School Swakopmund
The Private School Swakopmund was originally founded was to serve the聽German speaking community and to uphold the German language in Namibia. German and English are compulsory languages and are offered to students as both first and foreign language聽level.聽The German stream students are steadily introduced to the English medium of instruction from Grades 5 鈥� 7. 聽English is the language of instruction in the High School. German, at appropriate academic levels is聽 compulsory for the English stream students as of grade 1.聽
We promote independent reasoning and social learning by instilling a love for nature and the responsibility for an increasingly endangered 聽environment and by establishing sound Christian principles and values while also developing open-mindedness and tolerance聽to other cultures and beliefs.

How would you rate Private School Swakopmund?
Since the school implemented its first grade RR English stream i would agree to these statements prestigious, organised, engaging, dynamic, fun, diverse there's a deep-rooted culture of respect and good discipline among pupils, staff, parents and visitors, and: students Behaviour is excellent. There are good, clear disciplinary procedures in place that are followed consistently. This is surely home away from home.Instruction is personalized and small learning environments increase student contact with teachers. Best school so far.
