Agora Princess Margaret 麻花视频 School within Globeducate educational group, is a private, innovative and international school founded in 1967 and located in the city of Barcelona.
Agora Princess Margaret was the first school in Barcelona that implemented the 麻花视频 Baccalaureate庐 (IB) programme, PYP (Primary Years Programme, from EY3 to 6th of Primary, students aged 3 to 12) and MYP (Middle Years Programme for Secondary School students, aged 12 to 16). Our methodology is IB, but we provide the statutory National Curriculum designated by the local Government. Our school is a one form entry Early Years, Primary and Secondary school, for students aged 3 to 16.
The IB curriculum is based on Units of Enquiry that allow children to question, explore, think and reflect on their own practice, leading them to master academical concepts and acquire an open mind to solve real context situations. The IB ethos aims to encourage all students to be actively involved in their learning in order to take action and ownership of their own inquiries. At Agora Princess Margaret knowledge is obtained through the exploration of concepts, research and the development of competences that stimulate creativity and critical thought.
The school supports multilingualism and integrates three main languages which are taught to the highest standard. English immersion is set 100% in the first three years in school, EY3, EY4 & EY5, and from then onwards Catalan and Spanish is introduced and taught equally (25%/25%), keeping English as a 50% in every year group. Being a non-local language, English language is taught intensively in all year groups, which leads students to perform and obtain high results in the official English Cambridge exams.

Agora Princess Margaret is an inclusive school where all students are welcomed and valued. We have a 鈥淲elcome Class鈥� for Primary and ESO students from abroad to help them to adapt quickly and easily to their classes. The Welcome class provides Linguistic support with the new language until they achieve the right level to follow all the other subject contents. We attend their emotional needs when they join our school, as we are aware that changing schools or countries can be a challenging process and a big adjustment for the pupils. Children attend the Welcome class during language lessons and join their class group for the core subjects. Our school ensure that every child feels fully integrated in their classes and their adaptation process is followed by teachers, pupils and parents.

Est谩bamos buscando una escuela que ofreciera el m茅todo IB en primaria, para nosotros es esencial, que nuestros hijos se eduquen en un colegio triling眉e, con proyecci贸n internacional. Unos amigos nos recomendaron que visit谩ramos PMIS, en el barrio de Horta... Nos encant贸! Ofrecen, el programa internacional IB. Los dos primeros a帽os de infantil con el 100% de ingl茅s en clase. Las dos personas que nos atendieron, contestaron a todas las preguntas, que no eran pocas y nos mostraron la escuela en pleno horario de actividad, que es como se ve mejor la realidad del d铆a a d铆a y como se tratan las medidas de seguridad que requieren este tiempo. Toda la escuela est谩 muy cuidada y como que es un colegio no muy grande, le da un encanto pr贸ximo y familiar muy especial. Hemos encontrado el que quer铆amos y estamos felices!
Solo puedo dar buenas referencias de Princess Margaret School. El nivel de ingl茅s que adquirien los ni帽os es impresionante, as铆 como el proyecto educativo acorde con la filosof铆a del IB que se centra en la autonom铆a del alumno y en inculcar valores que considero b谩sicos para mis hijos como la integridad y solidaridad entre otros. Adem谩s, el trato familiar de todo el personal del colegio con los alumnos es exquisito. Lo recomiendo al 100%!
El la escuela que he elegido para mi hija, peque帽a, familiar, con un excelente nivel, desarrolla el programa IB y todo est谩 contrastado porque mis sobrinos llevan 5 a帽os en Princess Margaret.
Mi experi猫ncia en el Princess ha sido muy positiva. Se trata de un colegio en el que los alumnos aprenden valores humanos, sin olvidar la parte acad猫mica en la que consiguen un buen nivel. Por no mencionar el nivel de ingl茅s con el que salen que les permite afrontar cualquier reto futuro. Muy aconsejable.
My children are learning at PMIS and they feel super happy learning with the IB metodology and emotionally they are in the best school I could ever had imagine. We would fully recomend the school!!
Our kids grew up in this school and I was so pleased to have been part of the community. It is a mix between international and local students and that was one of my main priorities, ensuring that my kids were integrated in Barcelona, learn the language and also felt comfortable in an English environment. I found the three aspects in this school. The level of english is good evough to communicate plus they learn spanish and catalan. The process for reading and writing goes on a good pace, but my kids found it tricky I must say. We were patient and we realize is the way to be. They now can speak, read and write in the three languages. We are very proud!
Es una escuela muy bien cuidada en medio de un barrio muy tranquilo, el barrio de Horta en Barcelona. Nos pareci贸 un lugar donde los ni帽os pod铆an ser libres de forma segura y sobre todo lo que m谩s nos ha gustado es que todos los profesores conocen a todos los alumnos. Realmente al ser peque帽a se sent铆a como una familia y el director conoce a todas las familias y se entretiene a escucharnos. Todos los ni帽os dominan la lengua y mi nieto est谩 muy contento formando parte del Princess.
I have been very impressed with this school since the moment I joined as part of the community. Chidlren speak very well English but they are also learning Spanish and catalan in a nativa way. It is a school that mixes cultures Catalan Spanish and British/American traditions. They also embrace other cultures and celebrations. I was called to record a Diwali celebration as I am an IT professional. I was pleased to see how children behave and how they were encouraged to share ideas and speak uo in class. Congratulations, you are donig a great job!
We have been very happy to bring our children to this school. Our daughter became very fluent in English, and we are fully Spanish family. My daughter left the schol with a First Certificate by the age of 16 years old. She is very please with the school and she made very good friends. Now she is studying arts in a college. I think Princess Margaret 麻花视频 School set her up for success.
Princess Margaret School offers an excellent education. It is a small city school but that allows the school to get to know every single child. There is only one class per year group, so all teachers work as a team and have a very close relationship with families. The Head Teacher is always at the door, and always gives you a warm greeting in the morning and is always ready to listen and share ideas. I always felt very welcomed.

Esta bien , aunque le sobra un poco de marketing !!! Venden mucho y luego... mejorable las instalaciones deportivas no tienen y no les preocupa .. podr铆an cojer el colegio de al lado cerrado hace a帽os , pero eso no les preocupa , solo su dinero y su marketing .. por lo dem谩s esta bien , buena ense帽anza
