About Pestalozzi Schule

The Pestalozzi School was created in 1934 and is administered by the Pestalozzi Cultural Association, a聽non-profit civil association聽led by a Board of Directors made up of parents of students.聽Its multilingual project covers the聽initial聽,聽primary聽and聽secondary levels聽and includes the intensive teaching of two foreign languages (聽German聽- in a bicultural environment -聽and English聽).聽

In the last year of the Secondary Level,聽Portuguese聽is added聽as the fourth language. Its mission is to develop the moral and intellectual autonomy of its more than 1200 students and promote 鈥樎爀ducation for freedom聽鈥� and the 鈥樎爀ncounter of cultures聽.鈥� That is why the values of respect for the dignity of all people, non-discrimination, active participation in a democratic society and social and environmental commitment are a central part of its聽Institutional Ideology.
