Just a business they are just after $...No transparency. The least concern for this shcool is the education the future and the wellbeing of the pupil they are just after money. No Pedagogy Primary school pupil are juste saturated the program is insane 2 hour only per week for both Maths and Science??? is that enough. Pupil workbooks are just empty no time to practice. Some teachers wouldn't even bother to correct the workbooks exercise. We paid Clinics and After School Help, nobody is there to look after the kids even the ones at primary school during this service they are left to their owen so the kids would just go and play. They will promise you and EAL and FAL classe to help non English and French speakers to integrate you will have 0 assistance just fake promisses; the kids will be asked to swim or sink. Intenational school with no Lab within the facility ????
The school has 2 hour long lessons of both Maths and Science. The organisation is so bad it got the start of term wrong. They don't answer email regarding this.
A fuir !!!!!!! Rien que du business...Aucune transparence.... Consultez soci茅t茅.com....
The school was evicted from their premises following a multi year conflict with the landlord. No direct contact is permitted between parents and teachers . The school has now moved to new premises, which they claim was always their plan . This was not made transparent to parents . Parents have been asking questions about the general financial position of the school . Again they have not been transparent . The common issue is one of trust and transparency, which raises serious questions about their duty of care to children in the school .
My daughter aged 6 and son aged 3 attended OpenSky for just under one year. We were obliged to the leave the school in May this year after the school was evicted from their premises following a multi-year conflict with the landlord. This was the only the final problem that forced us to make the move . From the very beginning there was a problem with school in terms of communication and transparency. It is a matter of policy (which I tried to challenge ) that outside of infrequent very short parents evenings no direct contact is permitted between parents and teachers . All communications are screened through the admin department and anything contentious is referred to the head of school or the global head . It is claimed by the global head that this is the most efficient way but we found it very slow and lacking clarity , even on serious issues . For example , it came to our attention during a zoom lesson that 6-year old students are not encouraged to move from their desks/ interact . Even worse, during the class breaks students were played videos on a screen , further restricting their movement and social interaction . Only after one week of repeated escalations did we receive an acknowledgment of the issue and an admission that the practice needed to change . Worst of all was the psychological effect on our children . Our 6-year old daughter who is outgoing and curious became very negative about school and learning in general. She became agressive whenever we tried to speak in French . Just two days after starting a new school her attitude completely changed : she came curious again and asking questions. Clearly OpenSky is doing something very wrong . In our final interactions with the school , after they were evicted , I wrote to them three times over the course of a month requesting to refund canteen fees for meals not provided , which they had publicy committed to parents. I did not receive any response: this appears to be their standard response to inconvenient questions. The school has now moved to new premises, which they claim was always their plan . This was not made transparent to parents . Parents have been asking questions about the general financial position of the school . Again they have not been transparent . The common issue is one of trust and transparency, which raises serious questions about their duty of care to children in the school.
My daughter came in with poor language skills, especially French (zero), but within one year she was on a par with other students. Dedicated and skilled teachers, small classes (10 children max), focus on language (50% English/ 50% French) and an ambitious curriculum (at least one year ahead of the French system) make this bilingual school one of the strongest of its kind in the Paris region. The tuition fees are affordable for a upper middle-class family.
We have spent the last 6 months trying to work with Open Sky - I would warn others before you get involved. In all my time running businesses I haven't come across such an unprofessional and untrustworthy organisation. We have spent 6 months trying to get paid for services they ordered but after various promises along the way, now it is just silence. Be warned.
C鈥檈st plus qu'une 茅cole.

My daughter has studied for almost 1,5 years at Open Sky. She has arrived with no French and a poor English. We went back to our country with my daughter speaking fluently both languages, with impressive international experience and also with feeling that she had a opportunity to live the French culture. In addition, all support that we need, as we were foreigners, the directors, the employees from all levels, the teachers have been there to help us! Thank you Open Sky! Au revoir! Arriving in our country, we registered our daughter in a American school and the adaptation was super easy! Merci!

My 12 year old son is finishing his first year at Open Sky (6th grade) and we are very happy with the school. We are from the US here indefinitely for my husband鈥檚 work. My son spoke zero French upon arrival and has made excellent progress this year. He鈥檚 also basked in undivided attention from his teachers who are excellent... smart, compassionate, and engaged. I worried that Kai would have trouble adjusting to our new lives in France but on the contrary, he鈥檚 blossomed here and I attribute this to his experience at Open Sky.

Our family has appreciated all of the loving attention that our son has received from the great teaching staff at Open Sky. The individualized instruction has made our move from the US to Paris a breeze for our son. He will have lifetime friends from a diversity of countries and backgrounds. Thank you, Open Sky! And thank you to our son's amazing teachers!

We were looking for a different way of learning and a school where teachers will be able to take care about children on an individual way. It鈥檚 been so far a success and we have seen our daughter changing, she is now happy to go to school every morning and is learning english quite fast. On top of ot there is a family atmosphere that we all appreciate.
