About New English School (NES)
New English School, (NES) was founded by the late chairman, Mr. Tareq S. Rajab and was the first private, co-educational day school in Kuwait to offer a British style curriculum from Kindergarten to A level.
The chairman comes from a family with a history of pioneering in education and he established the school at a time of change in Kuwait in which he foresaw the need for education with English as the medium of teaching.
The first classes of NES opened in a villa in Shamiyah, actually starting at Secondary level and very soon after extending backwards to Kindergarten. It was soon apparent that this educational venture was outgrowing the original premises, so a purpose built campus was opened in 1974, and to date, improvements and extensions continue to maintain an environment that allows students to thrive. The school serves both the local and international communities, with children from over 70 nationalities and close ties are maintained with the U.K. and with other overseas British and 麻花视频 schools.

How would you rate New English School (NES)?
NES is a really good school with the best environment compared to other schools in Kuwait as bullying is almost non existent even if you are an "easy target". The teachers are very good and nice as they never lay a hand on the students. The facilities are top notch such as classes, labs etc. Cleanliness is superb and administration is conducted flawlessly. Even though NES is arguably by far the best school in Kuwait it does have some issues. Some islamic regulations and laws are ignored like the skirts must be below the knees but there are no enforcements to implement this, moreover sometimes they overcharge subtle things or charge you for something that you already paid for complete which adds to the expensive tuition fees. The final complain that I have is the fact that school days are very few as there are so many unnecessary vacations like the term break or so. Overall a great school for your kids of they have a strong moral compass
Very bad teachers and bad headteachers very disrespectful And I鈥檝e been in this school for about 10 years none have been pleasant but I just kept hoping that it would get better and it never did and very bad management.

Didn't even go but I know several people who did. All of them came out with high IGCSE grades and A Level grades, and later went on to study in highly prestigious universities around the world. This school produces highly respectable alumni; queen Rania of Jordan is one that comes to mind. I can easily say I wish I had the capability of joining this school, as it is easily the best British school in Kuwait, and I can without a doubt say I missed out on joining. No other school can even come close to producing alumni as successful as these, from what I've seen from other British schools in Kuwait. This school clearly fosters its students potential to excel, and there is deep commitment among faculty and management. If you put your child through this school, they will have many opportunities to shine.

NES is the best school in Kuwait in my opinion. It has many different sports to sign up for. Teachers are the best, very kind and very funny. During online classes teachers are trying their best to come up with creative ideas and make us love online classes. I am very thankful to be in this school and I thank all the amazing teachers that have taught me. In general this school is 5 stars
