About Jebel Ali School (JAS)
Jebel Ali School (JAS) is an evolution of Jebel Ali Primary School which was originally built to provide education for the children of expatriate workers involved in the construction of the largest man-made port in the world. 聽It opened its doors on September 22, 1977 and has since seen a varied and exciting life. When the port construction project was complete, the village was handed over to the Government of Dubai, but Jebel Ali Primary School remained under the control of its Board of Governors.
The school鈥檚 independent and non-profit status was cemented in 1986 by obtaining a Decree from His Highness Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai. This was a major landmark in the school鈥檚 history.
Jebel Ali School evolved into an entirely British Curriculum establishment but never lost its desire to cater for children of all nationalities and abilities. Its multicultural and cosmopolitan profile is one of its most attractive features to this day.

How would you rate Jebel Ali School (JAS)?
My niece joined this school a few years ago. On many occasions she has come home to her parents explaining how pupils are unkind, make personal and religious remarks. Mock her and she has made very few friends. She keeps asking her mum to leave. The kids are not kind but rough and not taught how to behave within a school environment. Such a shame. We could have gone to an American school as she was born in the US. Wouldn't recommend it.

Amazing teachers and staff , very friendly and up to nursery standards environment. Big class rooms with lots of toys equipment and the biggest outdoor playa area with fans . No others like this in motors city area . Keep it up we鈥檒l done .

Good school, close to the community. the only downside is that it is causing traffic in Remraam Community
