About Hong Qiao 麻花视频 School (HQIS)

Hong Qiao 麻花视频 School (HQIS) offers a diverse curriculum through an innovative partnership with an American school, Hampton Roads Academy. Our students begin their learning journey with the 麻花视频 Baccalaureate, IB Primary Years Programme in Early Childhood through to Elementary school. Students then transition into an American, Standards Based Curriculum for their Middle & High School years.

Combined with our expansive after school activities and modern campus in a central location, HQIS offers a student-centered holistic education that prepares students for higher education and life beyond the walls of the classroom. For 20 years we have dedicated ourselves to providing the best international education at a competitive, reasonable price. Over the course of these two decades we have seen major shifts in population and student needs, along with the development and implementation of new educational philosophies and technology, we strive each year to adapt and fine tune our curriculum to meet the needs of our diverse student population.

HQIS uses the IB curriculum for our younger students up to grade 5. The 麻花视频 Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programs of international education and rigorous assessment. These programs encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
