How would you rate European School Copenhagen?
Low academic level. Extremely high teacher turnover which often leads to teachers who are unqualified to teach the subject and/or have limited English language skills. Teachers are disengaged and do not seem to care about the students very much. The communication between school and parents is very bad.
The school started out very positively with an engaged and passionate director who despite of a lot of challenges managed to create a very positive experience for the pupils. Unfortunately, the school took a 180 after she left. The new management of the school is incapable of tackling a host of problems. There is an insane staff turnover, teachers are often totally unqualified to teach the assigned subject, bullying in classes thrives, and the communication between the school and parents is basically absent now. The academic level in math and science is ridiculous, which is concerning as these are tremendously important subjects. We are enormously disappointed about the school and in its current form would not recommend it to anyone.
Poor management and communication. High turnover of staff. Absence of pedagogical team. Teacher's general lack of motivation, passion, and interest.
Good and quality education lies in the school
What a fantastic school - we definitely made the right decision, such happy children everywhere!

Op 4 december 2018 hebben we een bezoek gebracht aan deze mooie school. De school is pas geopend en helemaal nieuw. Onze kleinkinderen Lucas en Simon zitten op deze school en volgend jaar ook Benjamin. Deze middag was er een Kerstviering in de gymzaal. Alle kinderen zongen mooie Kerstliederen in allerlei talen. Sommige bespeelden een muziekinstrument. Daarna hebben we het gebouw en de klaslokalen bezocht. Buiten een mooie speelplaats en een voetbalkooi. Veel succes gewenst met jullie nieuwe school en de leraren bedankt voor de mooie middag. Frank Bogers Lepelstraat Nederland.
