ENKA Schools Istanbul teaches not what to think, but聽how. In an atmosphere of free and open inquiry, students and teachers聽debate, collaborate, and investigate, challenging assumptions-and one another-with field-advancing insights backed by rigorous study. This unique ENKA聽education transforms individuals, preparing and empowering them to make a positive impact on the world.
The school was founded in 1996 in the cultural capital of the country as a private nonprofit center of educational excellence to provide an inspirational model for schools both within Turkey and throughout the international educational community. ENKA Schools鈥 first graduating class was the Class of 2008. All of our students continue on to higher education with 80-90% of our graduates matriculating at universities abroad.
ENKA Schools is a private Pre-K through grade 12 coeducational day school located in Istanbul, Turkey. Our students are primarily Turkish citizens, of whom approximately 10% hold dual citizenship.

Our son Enka Sakarya went to kindergarten. We had difficulties with basic needs. He kept the toilet until after school. Due to Covid, the water bottle was not taken in classrooms that were not working and were very hot, although they were 5 years old. He was very annoyed by not being able to drink water. Our security concerns arose due to the constant entry and exit of cars in the school garden. We contacted the administration and at least asked them to postpone the water issue a little bit, but the communication was one-sided and only in the direction of the correctness of their ideas. I think it's a strange school
