About EDEN Montessori 麻花视频 School
Eden Montessori 麻花视频 School was birthed from a yearning to provide relevant, respectful education in this 21st Century. A group of like minded families united to allow our children to flourish and grow in freedom. From a growing dissatisfaction with what mainstream education and its 鈥渙ne size fits all approach鈥� has to offer we searched for an education system that is inclusive, respectful to children; that nurtures independence and a love of learning while offering a child freedom of choice within limits and we found 鈥ontessori 鈥� And the rest as they say is History! Overcoming many hurdles over the first three years of trying to make a school a reality, and through much toil, blood, sweat and tears, EDEN Montessori 麻花视频 School was Born! Now taking applications for Enrolment for the 2018/2019 scholastic year!
Our Mission at EDEN Montessori 麻花视频 School is to ensure the scholarly success of our students, offering authentic Montessori education that reflects the work and pedagogy of Dr. Maria Montessori, with enthusiasm, integrity and relevance. We support the natural development of the human being from birth till maturity, allowing the children to become transformational elements in society, resulting in a more harmonious and peaceful world. Respect is our watch word, we respect ourselves, each other, and our environment. Our EDEN is a diversified landscape of international people and spaces, combining urban and rural elements to create a natural ambience without equal, where our students feel in harmony with their learning environment and free to reach their maximum potential.
Our MONTESSORI means, academic excellence promoting the acquisition of 21st century skills needed to function in this global economy. We adopt the Montessori Principles of; Intrinsic motivation, independence, self-directed learning and social responsibility. Our students embody these principles through celebration of their individual and shared talents and through recognising the importance of giving back to the community. Our SCHOOL is our community and we aim for connection at all levels; with parents and families, with the neighbouring community and society in general.

We found Eden School two years ago when first considered relocating to the Algarve from the UK. There professionalism, commitment to teaching and timely communication was outstanding. From the very first day we went there for a tour of the school there commitment and dedication was very clear to see. Two years on and our Son is doing extremely well and is very happy. We can鈥檛 thank 鈥淓den鈥� enough for letting us be a part of there wonderful community. Thank you again.

We found EDEN when we were searching for an international, bilingual school for our 4 year old son. We stumbled upon a gem! The staff is incredible and very knowledgeable about the Montessori method, which focuses on personal development rather than exams and produces more mature, creative and socially adept children. The facilities are fantastic, and there is equally strong emphasis on both academics and play. We've seen the results in our son's independence, creativity, conscientiousness, and all-around global thinking. Also, we love that he has learned some Portuguese and has an instilled love of learning that will carry him far throughout his life. Thank you, EDEN!
