How would you rate Doha College?
Doha College was a disappointing choice for my child's education. The teachers lacked enthusiasm and failed to engage with students, leaving my child feeling uninspired and unmotivated. Moreover, the atmosphere among pupils was hostile, making it difficult for my child to feel welcomed or included. Overall, our experience at Doha College was far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend it to other parents seeking a supportive and nurturing learning environment for their children.
My daughter attended dc from September 2021 to June of 2023. The school itself is amazing; considering facilities. Although the teachers are careless and keep a lot of important and illegal information from the ministry. They do not care about the students well beings, and don鈥檛 further investigate on older students. There have been a lot of allegations of substance abuse, smoking, dealing drugs etc, and neither do the teachers bring any of these illegal acts to the police or ministry. Every single one of my daughters 鈥榝riends鈥 had contacts with these illegal substances/acts and did the teachers do anything about it? no. The kids at this school are absolutely rebellious! Especially in older years. My daughter was also severely bullied in dc and the staff didn鈥檛 do anything about it, the way the staff handled these situations that occurred to my daughter were terrible!
It鈥檚 one of the best in Qatar
The teachers are temperamental. There is a lack of communication and acceptance of criticism and openness to change. As much as they claim to foster uniqueness and individuality, they do not. They are very 'by the book' and lack the foresight to appreciate children on an individual level.
I think its amazing. As a student I love this and all of its facilities. I鈥檝e learnt so much even though I鈥檝e only been here for 3 months. I can鈥檛 wait for my future. Certainly the best school in Qatar.
Really bad school went there for 4 years the headteacher is terrible school terrible
As a student at the school I can say that in terms of education standard and teachers, you won鈥檛 get many better schools than Doha College, DC provides you with the best education in Qatar and the Middle East with excellent teachers who support students academically, however where this school definitely falls short is it鈥檚 ability to communicate with its students, parents and even teachers, I have spoken to many teachers and they all feel the same frustration about the lack of communication by the school leadership team, and the biggest fear and challenge that I see Doha college is a complete drop in standard of students and Teachers as the leadership team is running the school more like a business than a educational institution
Doha College is overrated. It is just living off its old laurels and milking hapless parents in Qatar. The school is absolutely not receptive to any kind of feedback from parents. They run the school as if it is their god given right. During Covid-19 period, the school started under reporting cases and hiding facts from parents and even the ministry. They allowed teachers who were exposed to Covid-19 to continue teaching other students and exposed them to significant risk. The school management is very thick headed in their approach to schooling. The teachers offer minimal help & assistance to children & parents. They overload children with homework and hardly give them any play time. They do not let children think out of the box and curb their imagination. If you are unlucky and your child ends up with a bad teacher then their whole academic year is ruined. The school does not let children thrive, they mainly believe in rote learning. There is low emphasis on music, arts or play during later years. The school has grown too big for its own boots, especially with the new campus and the management are finding it very tough to manage the new campus. The school absolutely doesn't care about its children, especially in older classes. The school does not take any action despite multiple cases of bullying, substance abuse, etc. in higher classes. They like to just hush it up instead of addressing the issues.

My daughter spent 3 years in DC and I can honestly say she had a great education. I can find no fault in the school or the teachers. In fact the teachers we had were excellent. I found them to be very interactive and hands on. I always felt interest was shown in each child's welfare. Thank you.

Doha College is one of the best educational institutions in Qatar and it is very well maintained and managed. The campus is spacious and there are a lot of avenues for children to explore and grow. They have some of the best teaching staffs money can hire and the kids who study there are generally quite happy.

This school is advertised as if it is great, the best and second to none. I sent my daughter to the school after moving to qatar from Manchester ( she had previously attended the local grammar school there) hoping that this school would have lots of facilities to support her, however only after a couple weeks of attending, we saw little homework given, little variaty of clubs and activities and we have ended up moving back to the UK and I have sent her back to the grammar school only to find that she has fallen behind her peers because of the lack of work given. The pupils there are another story. She got bullied there and the school offered no support to help her, or to stop the bullies. This school is heavily false advertised as a great school, but It has made my daughters academics slip.
