About Denla British School (DBS)
DBS Denla British School is an international school affiliated with the Denla Group, which has been a leader in education in Thailand for over 40 years. DBS has been in operation since 2017, with a campus on Ratchaphruek Road that spans 60 rai, making it one of Thailand's largest international school campuses.
Currently, there are more than 600 students and over 70 British teachers implementing the British curriculum which is widely regarded as one of the best curriculums in the world because it nurtures students' discovery of their own interests from childhood through knowledge-rich curriculum and a wide range of creative activities.
DBS accepts enrolment applications from Pre-EY to Y13 (or equivalent students aged 2-18 years old), structured as follows: Pre-Prep (Pre-EY-Y2), Prep (Y3-Y8), and Senior (Y9-Y13). DBS also offers scholarships to students in Year 3 and above, or over the age of 7.
For 2022, DBS鈥檚 direction is to drive forward the school under the objective "Building for the Best鈥 by expanding admission enrolment to support Senior School students (Year 11-13) between 14-18 years of age, which has progressed as planned. The new buildings and facilities at DBS are the 665-seat Auditorium, Design Technology Suite, IT Suite, Senior Library, Sixth Form Centre, House Common Rooms, Art Studios, and so on.
DBS's goal is to "Nurture Great Global Leaders," and it operates on five pillars:
1. An Enhanced British Curriculum - the British Independent School Curriculum that provides students with more hours of study time at school to explore and pursue their passions for the purpose of self-discovery.
2. Academic Excellence for All - by providing an impactful teaching and learning method to assist students in achieving excellence in whatever fields they are interested in. DBS also provides trilingual subjects namely English, Thai, and Mandarin.
3. Entrepreneurship and Creative Thinking - by instilling in children an entrepreneurial mindset and creativity.
4. Thai Values in a Global Context - Despite the fact that we are an international school, we still consider the context of Thai society because we live in Thailand and the majority of the students are Thai. They must learn the culture and adapt to their surroundings, regardless of where they are in the world. They can be true global citizens while still upholding Thai values.
5. Wellbeing and Sustainability - We place a high value on the well-being of our students and staff because they regard school to be their second home.
Ethos Statement
鈥楽EMPER AD MAIORA鈥 (ALWAYS TO GREATER THINGS) The DBS motto 鈥楢lways to Greater Things鈥 reflects the DBS commitment to continuous improvement, observed by the whole community; students, staff and parents.

How would you rate Denla British School (DBS)?
DBS provides great facilities for all students ex. sport halls, music hall "Araya Hall which is one of the best auditorium in Thailand for the international schools. The enhanced curriculum really helps students to become strong academically especially if they want to get into top universities.
Another school claiming to be 鈥溌榛ㄊ悠碘 and promising parents a 鈥渉igh quality curriculum鈥 without developing and fully embedding it first. My knowledge of some staff is that they want an easy ride and lack care and compassion for their students.
Student bullying is bad here .
One of the best international school in Thailand.
Great school, my son enjoys it. Nice facilities, almost all teachers are from UK.
This school will promise you anything just to get you to enroll, but when it comes down to it the academics are beyond poor, student bullying is horrible, and teachers seem to not care.
