About Beehive School
Teaching in the individual stages is fluently linked to each other and thus ensures a comprehensive development of the child. At its very foundations, Beehive School draws on the British curriculum. We then add to this core the local Czech curriculum, combining the two in a unique programme that is unparalleled in the Czech Republic. This modern programme opens doors for our students to the whole world of international educational institutions.
In our school, recognizing that education is a lifelong process, we strive to provide the best possible start for each individual of our school in terms of their learning, physical, social and emotional development.聽
We are aware that not only material resources but also personal contact and care are needed to achieve these goals.

If I could rate this school with less than one star, I would. All I can do is warn any teachers who may apply to work in this school in the future, and advise parents of potential or existing students of the school's values. I applied for an English teaching position at Beehive a few months ago. I had an interview per skype with the current head English teacher, she was nice and friendly and the interview went well. The job sounded great! They made me an offer with quite a low salary, much lower than I had expected, and I communicated this to them. They made a higher counter-offer, which I accepted, and they confirmed and told me they were pleased that I was willing to work with them for the 2019-2020 school year, and that they would speak to administration and get back to me with the details. In the meantime, I planned my move to Prague, and they kept putting me off about the details, saying they were busy, they had a school trip to the UK, etc. One month later, I was sent an email, thanking me for my patience, and telling me they had hired someone else. Now, I was offered the job, accepted and it was confirmed. I am an EU citizen so it's not an issue of working permits or the like. They simply decided to offer me more money to keep me warm as a plan B, and desperately look for another teacher who was willing to accept a lower salary. I even have all the correspondence to prove all of this. So potential teachers: Beware, Beehive lies. To potential or existing parents of students: Is this the kind of institution you want educating your child? I hope this serves some purpose.
