About Aljezur 麻花视频 School

Aljezur 麻花视频 School offers a truly unique secondary school education to children aged between 10 and 18. Based in an idyllic, large farmhouse on seven acres of protected land near Aljezur in the Western Algarve, we welcome students of all nationalities and backgrounds. Teaching at the school is in small groups, with great attention given to individual educational needs.

Aljezur 麻花视频 was established in 2010 following an invitation from the local authority, C芒mara Municipal de Aljezur, to set up an international school in the area.

Operating from a temporary building in the centre of Aljezur, numbers quickly grew and in September 2013 the school moved into its permanent premises, an impressive converted farmhouse 5 km south of Aljezur.

Aljezur 麻花视频 is a University of Cambridge 麻花视频 Examination Centre, meaning students sit exams in the familiar environment of the school building. We are also the only open Cambridge exam centre in the Algarve meaning we accept external students of all ages and backgrounds.

There is a cross-curricular emphasis on sustainability and environmental responsibility. All the children work together to look after the organic vegetable garden and resident animals, offering the opportunity to be part of the food production process from field to fork.
