About Aiglon College
Aiglon College Chesieres is a school that will challenge you like no other. It is an independent, non-profit school located high in the Swiss Alps, in the village of Chesieres-Villars. Our founder, John Corlette, had a unique vision of what education should be when he enrolled the first six students in 1949. Aiglon continues to be a visionary place today, one where we are proud to nurture the next generation of global citizens and leaders.
At Aiglon College, we believe in inquiry-based learning. Students are challenged to go beyond the accumulation of factual knowledge and to address the greater questions that frame our world. We celebrate creativity and originality as vital qualities that equip individuals to reach new horizons of knowledge, appreciation and understanding.
Aiglon College's remarkable national and cultural diversity is an inspiring example of how, on a small scale, we are able to build a harmonious and fulfilled community.

How would you rate Aiglon College?
Above-average IB Diploma results and an extensive 'Expeditions' programme that challenges students to grow. Aiglon claims to develop the mind, body and spirit, which is basically what every school's marketing department claims. But this school delivers. The alpine setting contrasts with the cosmopolitan background of the student body. This school comes with a lifelong network that spans the globe. An excellent university placement service ensures that graduates can develop their potential at the best universities in the world.
Wasted time of 5 years and money , please look around...it was a great school when we started but then....talk to parents and families which left but not to one who stayed to have unbiased opinion.. we would not start over there with my 2 children now...

Wonderful time in my life. I spent a year here in 1961. Amazing views across the valley. I remember running down the winding road to the valley floor with our phys-ed class. My wife and I went back in 1983 or so.
