I am over the moon with my child鈥檚 experience at Townshend. Such a Prosperous Environment.

School ungoverned by basic moral principles, with delusional staff
Great friendships but that鈥檚 all I can say. It will ruin your life.
Townshend has made a difference in the person I am today. The atmosphere is what makes this place special: you build friendships with people from all over the world. I am thankful Townshend is where I received my highschool education.
My son's attended Townshend and I was a dorm father for a year. There are some good people there but it is not run in a way that makes it a safe environment for young people due to manner in which sexual misconduct allegations are handled. Your child may have a wonderful experience there, but the cost may turn out to be very great since there are problematic individuals there who have close ties to the administration.

I have spent 3 years of my education in Townshend, and I can not recommend it enough. If you decide to study here, you will end with: - An outstanding academic education with the world-recognized Cambridge curriculum, taught by teachers that care about you. - Friends from all over the world that will accompany you forever. - Developed life skills useful for a post-high school life. - A great experience. All while living in an atmosphere where your morals and virtues can develop, thanks to the emphasis and efforts that Townshend puts on this essential matter.

This is the place where I learned that strangers can become acquaintances, that acquaintances can become friends and that friends can become family. It was tough at times, but isn't it always when a snake sheds its skin or a caterpillar transforms to a butterfly from a cocoon. The constant support of people, that I learned to love and respect over time, in good days as well as bad days made it easier for me. To this day I have yet to experience a place to be home away from home like Townshend was to me; still is to me.

Townshend is like home to me, I have spent over 10 years at the school. It is a unique environment which you can only experience by visiting!

I would give it zero stars if I could. I made some long-lasting friendships, but that is about it. Cheap facilities, trips, school materials..etc. Some unqualified teachers in the past, or very unprofessional. I would have transferred to another school many years ago, unfortunately I didn鈥檛 have the option to and was stuck in Townshend until the day I graduated - which was very underwhelming. I wish I could say that I had a memorable time at this school.
