As a student who is currently enrolled in Tasis Portugal, I would like to share the the school is not everything it seems to be. It has a wonderful academic program however it is only the second year tasis has been doing the IGCSE program and it has not even commenced the IB Program. Although it claims to have "vibrant athletics" The athletics program is so underdeveloped that the school is not even able to participate in major tournaments that other international schools like Park, CaisL and St Juliens do. The teams at tasis are amateur and the coaches are simply teachers looking for ways to make a few extra euros in their free time. Teachers claim they can teach and appeal to all types of students however they teach every class the same way and don't understand that every student is a different type of learner. During my time at tasis (1 year and a half) I have observed the following: School arts and music program is very horrid. They encourage students to be themselves and show the world their talent, which is great, however they don't prepare the students for the humiliation and commentary they will receive in return from students due to being unprepared or having a lack of skill. The teachers have a "teachers lounge" where they gossip about students and this has been proven on several occasions where students have actually LEFT the school due to the awful treatment they received. The school fails to recognized exceptional behaviour in students who enter the school with a not-so-great- reputation. Tasis Portugal, as a so-called "community" fails to understand how learning is not a competition. The students lack support and when it comes to a test students dont do well in, they blame themselves for not being prepared when it is the teachers fault for not offering support when they can SEE a student has been already struggling. Last but certainly not least, the school claims to have a "diverse range of students" however the school currently has less than 5 dark skinned or middle eastern students in each grade.

Tasis is an exceptional school! The teachers and leadership are truly committed to providing the kids with a great education in a loving and supportive environment. The academic program is strong, however what impresses me most is the emphasis the school places on cultivating well rounded skills and values amongst the kids. The parent community is delightfully vibrant, helpful and fun loving. The whole experience has been wonderful so far. I can whole heartedly recommend this school!

I have two children in Tasis since 2020. We come from Italy, I was initially worried about school placement. But Tasis with all the team of teachers and directors made my kids feel like home from the first day of school. It is an excellent team, the structure is wonderful with immense outdoor and indoor spaces. Every month we organize external meetings and events with families. Tasis was the best choice I made for my children. Thank you Tasis!!!

We have three children enrolled at Tasis and we鈥檝e had an excellent experience so far. Interesting and engaging curriculum, strong academic team and a wonderful and supportive parents鈥� community. Our experience so far has been extremely positive. We love Tasis and could not recommend it highly enough!

My daughter joined Tasis School in January 2022 for grade 5, and now she is in grade 6. I'm thrilled to have found such a supportive community of parents here, and we gather once a month for fun and social events to get to know each other better. The headmaster and his wife run the school with high-quality teachers who are both friendly and professional. Most importantly, my daughter is happy at Tasis and has made some wonderful new friends easily. The academic education provided is excellent, and the school itself is modern and bright, with ample space and a lovely, welcoming ambiance.

Tasis is one of the most welcoming school I ever enrolled my child in. The admission process is very accurate but performed in a professional way taking into consideration the wellbeing of the child. The teachers are well prepared and kind.

In my experience, the admission team did not provide a supportive or efficient admissions process.

I have two boys at Tasis and we love everything about the school. The social and emotional learning program and the school culture based on empathy and respect, the facilities and after school activities and the teachers are all amazing. I recommend this school to everyone who is looking for best school in area.

As someone who prides them self on being a positive and kind person - my interactions and meetings with the headmaster have been unpleasant and rude. The kids teachers were wonderful, they were kind and community seem nice. All exceptional teachers seem to quit within a year or two. The leadership seems obsessed with image being upheld and attack any feedback. I don't recommend this school under the current leadership. It's a TASIS school so it will survive I imagine, but the headmaster and his senior leadership are harsh and cruel people.

It is very very bad the kids are depressed and they swear a lot I hate this school for my kids
