My two daughters attend the school, currently in first grade and junior kindergarten. The education is unparalleled in every aspect - mathematics, language, performing arts, art, music, and technology. The teachers are committed, enthusiastic, and dedicated and it shows everyday in the classroom in everything that they do. The programming is well planned and inspired, from school musicals and performances and weekly children-led assemblies to the sports curriculum (basketball, swimming, soccer) and ongoing field trips around New York City! Spanish immersion has been incredible with my daughters starting to speak and read in the language and really enjoy it. The head of school has founded and led schools all over the world, has a deep understanding of education and a has a wonderful hands-on approach. My older daughter is somewhat shy and soft-spoken in public, but at Pine Street School she is driven to be a risk-taker and has been presenting at weekly assemblies in front of large parent audiences, with her voice getting louder and more confident with each passing week. The school is focused on developing students equipped to succeed not only today but in the future in our ever changing society.

My son and daughter attend Pine Street and I cannot say enough about the school. It offers an education unlike anything available in NYC. Incredible.

The progressive curriculum, the language immersion program and the respect given to each child as an individual sets this school apart from any other school in nyc.
