How would you rate Lakeside School - Horgen?
The school delivers a great blend of the swiss local system with the advantages of bi-lingual private education with a broader curriculum and a more dynamic approach to teaching. Unlike the local system, the classes are small, and children receive greater direct tuition and support. Neither have experienced any form of bullying. The building creates a cozy, personal and warm feel. The teachers are incredibly supportive and genuinely care about their work and the children in their care.
The combination of small number of students per class and experienced teachers are the key for an excellent bilingual education.
Lakeside School is a wonderful school. Our daughter started in Kindergarten 2 and is now almost finished Grade 1. It is a truly bilingual school, in primary school all lessons are taught in German one week and English the next. Our daughter鈥檚 language skills have flourished. It is a wonderful school community, the children show great respect and encouragement for each other. As a parent I notice the general feeling of happiness and well-being, students and staff are smiling and most importantly our daughter loves going to school.

We feel lucky to have found Horgen, as well as the Lakeside School. Our son has loved his six plus years at the school - and heads happily out the door each day.
