The school is the MOST expensive school in Doha. The school got sold to a new company and the new ownership has caused a disaster. Fired staff, cut salaries of all veteran/ highly skilled and experienced teachers with high degrees, and no salary scale provided. As a result, many teachers resigned and left and many plan to resign this year especially in PYP department. They are fully IB accredited school but new owners have no clue of IB or PYP. The new head of school is equally unqualified as an IB educator and does not have any IB background. She is micromanaging the school and acts like a hitler. No voice of parents, teachers is heard and it鈥檚 only her way. Many I say many international students and families that have been at the school since the beginning has all left ACS this year. The future looks dull and not sure what will happen to academics of students this school year.

As an acs student, the teachers do not support me in improving my learning, they mostly have no control over the class at times unless they are strict (log entries & detentions.) The only teachers that have supported me in improving is my French teacher. You don't learn in class you have to review and learn everything at home. Payed 80k rial for poor learning.
